Hackathon@HKUST 2019 is open to UM students (Application Deadline: 15 March 2019 )

The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) is going to hold ” Hackathon (hardUST and hackUST)” this year again.

It will be held on 12 – 14 April 2019 at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology campus in Hong Kong.

Rewards and Subsidy

Cash prizes, food and souvenirs, paid-internship opportunities and the most remarkable is a HK$200,000 startup seed fund that will be granted to the winning team for setting up a startup to run a startup under the Jardine Restaurant Group of the famous Jardine Matheson.

For overseas participants / hackers accepted for joining the Hackathon@HKUST 2019, HKUST will provide a subsidy of HK$2,000 (or equivalent in USD) per overseas “hacker” upon successful completion of the event (quota is limited to 30).
