H2 Innovation Challenge is a competition that aims to stimulate students’ creativity in developing ideas in gerontechnologies for the Greater Bay Area (GBA) (Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong) silver hair market. This Challenge offers participants to:
- understand the opportunities and challenges in an ageing society;
- develop feasible business ideas and potentials in gerontechnologies and innovations to promote smart living and smart ageing; and
- explore potential to establish business and entrepreneurship collaboration with industry experts and service providers.
1. Eligibility
- Current students from universities in HKSAR and other cities in the GBA
- Teams of 2 to 5 with members from any of the universities in the GBA
2. Application
- Apply online to enter the challenge by 3 April 2020
- Applicants will be notified of entry confirmation by 10 April 2020
3. Schedule

| 13 – 19 April 2020 | First Round- 7 days to crack the cases and submit a 10-page PPT presentation deck by email will be sent to the participants on 13 April 2020) |
| 27 April 2020 | First Round Result Announcement |
| 27 April – 1 May 2020 | Preparation for Final Round (10 finalist teams will receive mentoring to fine-tune and optimize ideas, product concept and presentation decks) |
| 4 – 7 May 2020 (to be confirmed) | Final Presentation and Result Announcement (10-min presentation*, followed by a 5-min Q&A) (*face-to-face presentation for teams with members residing in HKSAR; online for those residing in other cities of GBA and do not have members representing to present in HKSAR) |

1. Champion: HKD 20,000
2. First-Runners Up: HKD 10,000
3. Second-Runners Up: HKD 5,000
4. Most Creative Award: HKD 3,000
