CIE Hosts Second Briefing Session for “Health+” Accelerator Programme

To further deepen the understanding of the “Health+” Accelerator Programme and assist potential applicants in their preparations, the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (National Co-Working Space) at the University of Macau (UM) successfully convened its second briefing session on January 7. The hybrid event, conducted both online and offline, attracted nearly 60 participants, including UM faculty, researchers, students, alumni, and representatives from startup teams.

During the session, representatives from the CIE first outlined the core objectives and structure of the “Health+” Accelerator Programme. A detailed walkthrough was provided on the application workflow, eligibility criteria, required documentation, and key points for attention. The subsequent Q&A segment saw active engagement from attendees, who raised questions regarding programme services, intellectual property rights, and other pertinent topics. CIE representatives addressed each inquiry individually, offering concrete advice and clarifications. The session served as a comprehensive guide, equipping participants with clear directions for the application process.

The “Health+” Accelerator Programme, supported by the Macau Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) and implemented by the CIE, is currently accepting applications. The deadline for submission is January 23, 2026.
