On 31th October 2019, “Innovation Network Seminar” hosted by Sunwah Group and co-organized by the University of Macau was held in the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). Mr. Jesse Choi, CEO of Sunwah Innovation Center, and Prof. Zhixin Yang, Director of Research Services and Knowledge Transfer Office of the University of Macau, delivered the welcome remark respectively at the beginning of the seminar.
Seven distinguished guest speakers, who are Prof. Jerome Yen, from University of Macau; Ms. Ivy Chan, from Cyberport Hong Kong; Dr. Yuhua Zhou, from Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen Research Institute); Mr. Cyrus Choi, from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; Ms. Lan Tan, from TEC Edmonton, Canada; Dr. Truong Minh Huy Vu, from Vietnam National University, and Prof. Bao Wenzhong from Fudan University, gave the introduction about the development of innovation and entrepreneurship on their own region or institution respectively.
Follow with the presentations, seven speakers were invited to take a panel discussion to share their opinions of building a Global Innovation Network and how would the network gather the strength from different regions. The discussion is heated and audience learned a lot from the presentations and discussion.
