“Dare to Dream” Greater Bay Area Study Program – Shenzhen has been successfully held last week

On November 29th and 30th, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Institute of Collaborative Innovation and Career Development Centre, Student Affairs Office of the University of Macau jointly organized the “”Dare to Dream” Greater Bay Area Study Program – Shenzhen”.

https://cie.ici.um.edu.mo/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/WechatIMG19.jpegDuring the visit, UM members visited several well-known local organizations such as HKUST Shenzhen Research Institute, Blue Bay Incubation Harbor and BGI Shenzhen Headquarter and the BGI Miracle Light Incubator. These opportunities enhance UM members’ understanding of the economic development of the Greater Bay Area.

Shenzhen is the first starting point of China’s reform and opening up and also the epitome and essence of China’s reform. This visit provided opportunities for UM students to gain a better understanding of the China’s economic layout and the development of science and technology and broaden their global visions.

By joining the program, the students expressed their deep understanding of the reform and opening up and the construction of the Greater Bay Area, and they are proud of China’s brilliant achievements in terms of economy and science and technology. At the same time, they continue to improve themselves and contribute to the development of the China.
