On 18 January, a group of students from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology visited the University of Macau to prepare for this year’s One Million Dollar Macau Regional Entrepreneurship Competition. The 2019 edition has added a special award to encourage students from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Macau to form joint-university teams. Students from both universities had a wonderful talk during the activity which deepened their understanding of each other. They exchanged their entrepreneurial thoughts and ideas, providing possibilities for the cross-university team formation.
The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Student Affairs Office co-organized this joint team activity: an interesting ice-breaking session and a professional introduction of the Macau Regional Competition before the floor is open to participating students to introduce themselves, entrepreneurial ideas or even executive summaries drafted for the Competition.
The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship aims at cultivating a new generation of young entrepreneurial talents with innovative ideas, abilities and creativity, and aims at cultivating more outstanding talents for Macao, Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, even the whole country.
