The University of Macau (UM) recently swept six prizes at the ‘Parafuturo de Macao’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The team named ‘Genetrump’ won the overall championship and an IEEAC Award. Another UM team named ‘MBMC AI SOC Team’ won a University Category Award and a Torch Award. A third UM team named ‘WeeeMake (Macau) Technology Co., Ltd’ also won a University Category Award and an IEEAC Award. The competition was co-organised by the Parafuturo de Macau Investment and Development Limited, Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre, and the Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology of Macau.
