“Economic Development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and Innovation platform of the University of Macau” Successfully Organized and Event Highlights
In September 5th, 2019, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lecture Series in “Economic Development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area economy development and Innovation platform of the University of Macau” which was delivered by Prof. Jerome YEN, Head of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, was successfully held. Mr. Dan XIANG and Ms. Wen FU, the representatives of Zhuhai (National) High-tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center, as well as Mr. Yuke CHEN, the supervisor of Southern Software Park, were invited to explain the innovation and entrepreneurship environment in Zhuhai High-tech Zone.
During the lecture, Prof. Jerome YEN put forward a framework, which supported the creative knowledge economy. A broader incubation platform, which integrates innovation, entrepreneurship and venture capital, can be created for Macau youth by linking up the resources and markets from different cities using the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area concept.
Representatives from Zhuhai (National) High-tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center introduced the Zhuhai High-tech Development Zone and the “Qing Niu Hui” innovation and entrepreneurship competition in great details. After the lecture, the audience gained a lot of information about the strong support given to innovation and entrepreneurship projects provided by the Zhuhai High-tech Development Zone.
